Evening all,
I have a 3G iPhone that I will be jail breaking shortly. I'm wondering if anyone has tried (successfully or not) to use the iplayer-dl ruby code on a jail broken iPhone running ruby to allow the iPhone to download H.264 video files rather than just stream them.
It would be useful to download what I want to watch when I have wifi and then watch it when I'm out and about, without having to use a computer to download the file.

I don't think any of the current developers have iPhones, but I don't see it wouldn't be able to play the video. Running the scripts themselves would be more down to what the iPhone hacking community have achieved rather than the download scripts themselves
